Aloe Vera Juice

Aloe vera is grown in most of the tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world and holds a special place in the traditional Chinese, Middle Eastern and Indian herbal medicine.

Also called as the ‘Lily of the Desert’, aloe vera contains about 200 biologically active components including essential vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, and E), minerals (magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc, choline, selenium, and potassium) and amino acids.

Energy replenishment, skin injuries, burns, acne, acid reflux—name a condition, and you will find its cure in this amazing plant! The gel of aloe vera plant can be made into a clear juice which when had twice a day can save you from the health issues, and make your skin better.

It also contains minerals such as germanium, iron, and copper; all of which have healing properties. What’s more, the continous use of this juice helps trigger detoxification reaction in the body. If you are not fond of the bland taste of this juice, you can mix it with different special ingredients like citrus and herbs to churn out the best from them. Plus, the excessive presence of vitamin C in the citrus fruits enhances the iron absorption in the body.

Aloe vera also has anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties. Plus, the presence of polysaccharides and antioxidants in this plant helps provide immune-boosting benefits. Drinking aloe juice regularly is heart friendly too, because of the presence of B-sitosterol that prevents the cholesterol absorption in the system and aids in the lowering of triglyceride levels. Aloe vera also has strong laxative properties that work wonders when you are suffering from constipation.

Summer Reflections – November Aspirations

🍂As we welcome the 1st day of November, I remember that summer was amazing! How about yours?Where did you go? What did you see? Most importantly, WHAT DID YOU EAT?! Haha! The Infusions KW family roamed Turkey and it is honestly one of my favorite destinations I have ever been to (and we travel alot). So much to love about Turkey; the weather, the landscape, deep history, kind people, and tantalizing food all made such an impression on me. I learned about their most common spices and flavor palette while imdulging some cooking recipes. Turkey will definitely be my inspiration for Infusions this Fall season.

Just wanted to say a quick hello and highlight what’s coming up in November. If you haven’t done so already, please Sign up for our monthly newsletter.

🍁November’s newsletter marks our first of the new season after a long hiatus. We were reorganizing from within (including our admin queen welcoming a new bundle of joy), creating new spices, and revamping our website (thanks to our volunteer computer Jedi who also taught me how to use this WordPress thingy right now haha!). Alot of NEW exciting things coming your way this season!

The first of our recipe videos will be on YouTube this week! Press this link, please like and subscribe! My personal goals for November is to take advantage of the cool weather now in Kuwait (yes I live in Inferno in summer) and lead a more healthier lifestyle. Which includes more home prepped meals. I am offering 10% discount when you use code HEALTHY on my website.

Will be back later this week with some more yummy stuff and keep all of you updated.

God bless. Eat well. Play alot. Love yourself. Live long.
